Modelling Distributed Agent Systems with RoMAS
نویسندگان
چکیده
Multi-agent systems(MAS) are typical distributed systems. To model such a distributed system, a new definition and architecture for agent is proposed to be more appropriate for dynamic, open system’s analysis, design and implementation. The formal specification of these concepts is described. A MAS modelling methodology RoMAS based on these definitions is presented through RoboCup simulation football team case, including its graphical modelling language and the complete process.

Designing normative open virtual enterprises
There is an increasing interest on developing virtual enterprises in order to deal with the globalization of the economy, the rapid growth of information technologies and the increase of competitiveness. In this paper we deal with the development of normative virtual enterprises (NOVEs). They are systems with a global objective that are composed of a set of heterogeneous entities and enterprise...
متن کاملAdaptive Distributed Consensus Control for a Class of Heterogeneous and Uncertain Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems
This paper has been devoted to the design of a distributed consensus control for a class of uncertain nonlinear multi-agent systems in the strict-feedback form. The communication between the agents has been described by a directed graph. Radial-basis function neural networks have been used for the approximation of the uncertain and heterogeneous dynamics of the followers as well as the effect o...
متن کاملAMIRA A State of the Art Analysis of Workflow Modelling and Agent-based Information-Systems
In recent years the requirements for business information systems have changed. Knowledgeand process-management demand for flexible, dynamic and distributed software environments including the ability to work across the organization’s boundaries. With traditional software not up to these challenges new concepts have been developed. This paper reviews the state of the art in workflow modelling, ...
متن کاملUtility-based Decision-making in Distributed Systems Modelling
We consider a calculus of resources and processes as a basis for modelling decision-making in multi-agent systems. The calculus represents the regulation of agents’ choices using utility functions that take account of context. Associated with the calculus is a (Hennessy–Milner-style) contextsensitive modal logic of state. As an application, we show how a notion of ‘trust domain’ can be defined ...
متن کاملA discrete-event system approach to multi-agent distributed control of container terminals
The area of modelling and controlling intermodal terminal systems is relatively new. The paradigms of Discrete Event Systems for modelling and of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) for distributed control seem promising. Many research attempts developed modelling and simulation tools but no standard exists. This paper presents a Discrete Event System model of the agents introduced to describe how a dist...
